Every interview is an adventure.. and I like it. I ended up going to interview
Boy Kill Boy at Irving Plaza on July 1st all by my lonesome. So I am standing outside of the venue waiting for their manager to come and retrieve me. I was supposed to find this side door that I swear didnt exist. I am on the phone with him as he describes this door. I see this guy on a cell phone who makes eye contact with me and smiles.. so I say into the phone.. "oh, is that you looking at me?", as I walk toward this person. Well, the manager started talking and this guys lips didnt move. Embarrassing. Awesome.
While waiting, I met:
-A very nice man who had the job of making sure that people didnt bring "forks and spoons" into the venue.
-A man who I asked, "is this an all-ages show and if so will there still be alcohol?" He responded, "You could probably get someone to buy it for you." (I am 26 years old)
-A man who needed an extra ticket and told me how he smoked a joint with Keith Richards once.
So I get into the venue and meet the guys. They are suppperrr nice (and well dressed-great hair too). Care to
